MANILA, Philippines- Irerekomenda ng House quad committee ang pagsasampa ng kaukulang kaso laban sa 10 indibidwal na isinasangkot sa illegal drug trade, Philippine offshore gambling operators (Pogos) at extrajudicial killings (EJKs) sa ilalim ng Duterte administration.
Sa isang ambush interview ng mga mamamahayag, sinabi ni Quad Comm Overall Chairman at Surigao del Norte Rep. Robert Ace Barbers na ang detalye ng kanilang committee report ay kanilang isusumite sa plenaryo sa susunod na Linggo.
Hindi naman tinukoy pa ni Barbers ang pagkakakilanlan ng mga kakasuhan maliban sa pagsasabi na nasa 10 ang mga ito.
“All our recommendations, assuming we will recommend the filing of criminal and administrative cases, will involve active, retired, and recently retired. All that will be included in our recommendations,” paliwanag ni Barbers.
Ipinaliwanag ni Barbers na ang mga ahensya ng gobyerno ay kasama sa kanilang pagsasampa ng kaso.
“The Department of Justice will be there, the Office of the Ombudsman will be there, the will probably be there. Just to give you a tip of what recommendations we will report next week,” pagtatapos ni Barbers. Gail Mendoza
