MANILA, Philippines- Inumpisahan na ng National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) ang pagsasagawa ng administrative investigation laban sa isang police lieutenant colonel at asawa nito na mga suspek sa pagkamatay ng isang police sergeant noong nakaraang buwan.
Sinabi ni NCRPO director Brig. Gen. Anthony A. Aberin na ang police lieutenant colonel at kanyang asawa ay kasalukuyang nasa ilalim ng restrictive custody at sinampahan na ng criminal case kaugnay ng pagkasawi ng isang 55-anyos na si Police Executive Master Sergeant Emmanuel De Asis.
“The suspects were immediately placed under restrictive custody. If evidence warrants and after the appropriate legal process are undertaken, the suspects involved should be dismissed from the service while facing the criminal cases against them,” pahayag ni Aberin.
Inamin ng police lieutenant colonel, naka-assign sa Police Community Relations ng Southern Police District, ang pagpaslang kay de Asis sa loob ng kanilang quarters sa NCRPO headquarters sa Taguig City noong Nov. 28, subalit iginiit na ito ay dahil nahuli umano ito sa kalagitnaan ng “intimate situation” kasama ang kanyang asawa.
Ipinag-utos umano ng lalaking suspek sa kanyang asawa, miyembro rin ng PNP na naka-assign sa Regional Mobile Forces Battalion ng NCRPO, na kumuha ng hacksaw. Kalaunan ay pinagpuputol ang katawan ni de Asis, inilagay sa dalawang sako saka inilibing sa Baguio City.
Ani Aberin, inatasan na niya si SPD director, Brig. Gen. Bernard Yang na tiyakin ang mabusisi at wastong koleksyon ng mga ebidensya.
“Criminal cases to be filed should be airtight and unequivocally bring the suspects to conviction,” giit ni Aberin.
“There will be no stone left unturned in this investigation. The pieces of evidence are overwhelming and I specifically instructed concerned units to ensure the filing of airtight criminal and administrative cases against the suspects,” patuloy niya.
Inihayag ni Police Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, tagapagsalita ng Philippine National Police (PNP), na nakararanas ang asawa ng police lieutenant colonel ng trauma sa insidente.
Aniya, kasama ng lalaking pulis ang kanyang asawa sa pagbiyahe sa Baguio City upang ilibing ang bangkay ni de Asis.
Sa kasalukuyan, hindi pa nakakausap nang maayos ng police investigators ang asawa ng police official. Mahalaga ang salaysalay ng asawa sa pagtukoy kung totoo ang pahayag ng suspek.
“So we have not yet obtained her version of the story. But what’s important here is we already established there is definitely murder in this case and then another case, the mutilation and possibly, the attempt to hide this incident,” ani Fajardo. RNT/SA
