MANILA, Philippines- Ginawaran ni Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) chief Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr. ng bagong ranggo ang 14 bagong promote na mga heneral, flag-officers, at senior reservist officers sa Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City nitong Martes.
Kabilang sa Philippine Army officers na tumaas ang ranggo sina Lt. Gen. Ferdinand Barandon, commander ng Armed Forces Intelligence Command (AIC); Maj. Gen. Rommel Cordova, AFP Deputy Chief of Staff for Plans o J-5; Brig. Gen Constancio Espina, commander ng Communications, Electronics, at Information System Service ng AFP; at Brig. Gen. Gerard Velez, commander ng Civil-Military Affairs Brigade, AFP Reserve Command.
Samantala, ang mga na-promote naman mula sa Philippine Air Force ay sina Lt. Gen. Augustine Malinit, Inspector General ng AFP; Brig. Gen. Paulo Teodoro, Assistant Superintendent, Philippine Military Academy; at Brig. Gen. Joseph Archog, Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff for Plans, AJ-5.
Para sa Philippine Navy ay sina Lt. Gen. Jimmy Larida, AFP Deputy Chief of Staff; Maj. Gen. Simplitus Adecer, deputy commander ng AIC; Maj. Gen.
