MANILA, Philippines – Arestado ang dalawang dayuhan sa Taguig City dahil sa umano’y pagsasagawa ng medical procedures nang walang valid professional license, sinabi ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) nitong Huwebes.
Ang mga suspek, na kinilala lamang sa pangalang “Zhang” (babae) at “Cong” (lalaki), ay inaresto sa isang spa facility sa isang condominium complex sa kahabaan ng 1st Avenue noong Sabado, ayon sa CIDG.
“The arrested suspects were caught while allegedly performing medical treatment, particularly administering facial injection and related medical procedures to clients, without the necessary license, permits or registration from the proper Philippine authorities,” paliwanag ng CIDG.
“Confiscated from the foreign suspects were assorted vials of injectable substance, cosmetic products, hair removal machine, magnetic therapy machine, and related equipment,” dagdag pa nito.
Ang mga suspek ay nasa kustodiya ng CIDG Anti-Organized Crime Unit at sinampahan ng kaso sa National Prosecution Service para sa paglabag sa Republic Act No. 2382 o ang Medical Act. RNT/MND
