MANILA, Philippines – Nasa 32 crew members ng isang passenger vessel ang nasagip sa bisinidad ng Barangay Corregidor, Dapa, Surigao del Norte nitong Huwebes, Abril 30, ayon sa Philippine Coast Guard (PCG).
“Based on initial investigation, the distressed vessel capsized and broke into two parts due to rough sea conditions, while en route to Dapa from Claver, Surigao del Norte.”
Nasa proseso na ng pagsuri sa kondisyon ng mga pasahero ang PCG response teams at minomonitor ang posibleng marine environmental impact ng insidente.
“Interviews with the rescued crew are ongoing to determine the cargo and remaining fuel onboard,” dagdag ng ahensya. RNT/JGC
