MANILA, Philippines – Maghahain ang Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) ng kaso laban kay Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Chief Fire Director Jesus Fernandez at 39 pang kasalukuyan at dating opisyal dahil sa bid-rigging at graft sa Ombudsman.
Sa press briefing sa Quezon City noong Huwebes, sinabi ni DILG Secretary Jonvic Remulla: “We are ready to file cases next week. Our case build-up is complete now. We should be prepared to file cases against the Bids and Awards Committees for bid-rigging from 2014 to 2025.”
Idinagdag niya, “I will be filing charges against the Chief of the BFP, also to his deputies.”
Ayon kay Remulla, kabuuang 40 katao ang sasampahan ng kaso kaugnay ng umano’y rigged bids. RNT/MND
