MANILA, Philippines- Ipinag-utos ni National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Maj. Gen. Anthony Aberin nitong Huwebes ang regular na police patrol operations upang mapigilan ang mga magnanakaw at iba pang kriminal na nagpapanggap na motorcycle taxi at delivery riders sa Metro Manila.
Ani Aberin, nakipag-ugnayan na sila sa Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) at motorcycle taxi companies para magsagawa ng operasyon na tutukoy sa lehitimo mula sa pekeng motorcycle at delivery riders.
“The NCRPO took this matter seriously as a critical issue of public safety and brand integrity,” pahayag ni Aberin.
Ani Aberin, nakatakda itong pairalin sa June 16.
“This joint proactive action was made following increasing concerns over unauthorized individuals wearing ride-hailing uniforms to pose as legitimate riders while allegedly engaging in criminal activities such as hold-ups, shootings, and kidnappings,” wika ng opisyal.
“This operation is a reflection of our swift and responsive public service, our unity with partner agencies, and our accountability to protect the public from criminal elements who exploit trust and identity,” dagdag niya. RNT/SA
