MANILA, Philippines – Hindi umano handa at wala ring direksyon ang Pilipinas sakaling sumiklab ang isang giyera sa ilalim ng administrasyong Marcos, sinabi ni Vice President Sara Duterte nitong Linggo, Hunyo 22.
Ang pahayag ni Duterte ay kasabay ng kanyang speech sa “Free Duterte Now” rally sa Melbourne, Australia kung saan umapela siya sa mga tagasuporta na magtulong-tulong para mapalaya ang kanyang ama na si dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na nakakulong pa rin sa The Hague dahil sa umano’y crimes against humanity.
“We are not prepared for drawing change, we are not prepared for war, we are not prepared for global shock because there is no plan at all, there is no vision at all,” sinabi ni Duterte.
“I’ve been a member of the cabinet, and there was no direction at all, so we need to come together and push for the administration to give what is rightfully for the country,” dagdag pa niya.
Inihayag din ng Bise Presidente ang labis niyang pagtanggi sa deployment ng Typhon missile system ng Estados Unidos sa Pilipinas.
Iginiit niya na hindi dapat kumampi ang Pilipinas sa anumang bansa at balansehin ang foreign relations nito sa iba’t ibang bansa.
“Iyong problema natin sa West Philippine Sea, does not make up our entire relations with China. And so, therefore, there is no reason for you to lean towards the US. You have to always stay in the middle because you are not a part of the bigger conflict,” sinabi pa ni Duterte. RNT/JGC
