MANILA, Philippines – Nasamsam ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) ang ₱157,000 halaga ng pekeng Magic Sarap at Ajinomoto sa isang buy-bust operation sa Digos City, Davao del Sur.
Nahuli ang suspek noong Hulyo 12 habang nagbebenta ng pekeng produkto, ayon kay CIDG Director Brig. Gen. Romeo Macapaz.
“The arrest of this person significantly prevented the harm and health risk that these products may cause,” aniya, at binigyang-diin na hindi dumaan sa safety checks ang mga pekeng produkto.
Nahaharap ang suspek sa paglabag sa Intellectual Property Code, Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, at Consumer Act. Santi Celario
