MANILA, Philippines – Itinanggi ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) nitong Martes ang mga ulat ng destabilization plot at iginiit na nananatiling “solid and disciplined” ang organisasyon sa gitna ng mga isyung pulitikal kaugnay ng umano’y maanomalyang flood control projects.
“We are a solid and disciplined organization and we remain professional through all of this,” ayon kay AFP spokesperson Col. Francel Margareth Padilla sa Camp Aguinaldo.
Ikinumpara niya ang mga pulitikal na ingay sa “radio static” na “make noise but don’t actually change the signal,” sabay giit: “Our focus is locked on our mission and that is to protect the people and secure the State.”
Muling nilinaw ni Padilla na walang nagaganap na destabilization mula sa militar at tinawag itong bahagi ng “disinformation campaigns.”
