Alas Pilipinas pinuri sa Senado

MANILA, Philippines – Pinuri ni Senate Minority Leader Alan Peter Cayetano nitong Miyerkules ang Philippine Men’s National Volleyball Team, Alas Pilipinas, matapos ang kanilang historic first win sa FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championship 2025 na ginanap sa Pilipinas.

“We always pray to God for nation building, but right before our eyes y’ung pinaka simple po ay sports. Sports brings Filipinos together. This team not only made us proud during the SEA Games, they also made sure they will pleasantly surprise us [in this championship.] This team honored the country,” sabi ni Cayetano sa kanyang sponsorship speech nitong October 1.

Pinangunahan din ni Cayetano ang pagbibigay-parangal sa pamamagitan ng Senate Resolution No. 143 na kumikilala sa Alas Pilipinas sa kanilang ika-19 na puwesto mula sa 32 koponan sa final standings.

Ipinagmalaki rin ng minority leader na gaganapin sa Pilipinas ang 2029 Women’s Volleyball World Championship. RNT
