“Some are still in drop-off points. I believe that it is manpower as well because some of the LGU personnel are still affected. That is the reason why we hope to take over, the capital will take over in collaboration with the national government and private institutions,” anang opisyal.

“And also, we cannot bring as many volunteers as we have because, as compared to typhoon, this is an earthquake and until now, there is still continuing aftershocks, so volunteers would have to be trained before we would be able to bring them in the area,” dagdag pa.

“During the meeting yesterday with the president, the governor expressed her hope in the next five days, everything would be functional. First priority is power. Now, there are still a lot of areas that don’t have power and without power, we won’t be able to do a lot.”

“That’s one of the structures that the government expressed to the president that they are hoping to get immediate help for because the hospital in Bogo City is one of the biggest hospitals in that area, in Northern Cebu,” sinabi pa ni Orong.

RNT/JGC
