Police Regional Office 6 Director PBGen. Josefino Ligan is doing just that by giving well-deserved recognition to outstanding police officers whose dedication has directly impacted public safety and police effectiveness.
Among the awardees were PEMS Rodolfo N. Legaspi III and PCpl Jonald F. Bornales of San Joaquin Municipal Police Station, who received the Medalya ng Kagalingan for a high-impact anti-drug operation that led to the arrest of a high-value target and the seizure of suspected shabu.
Their decisive action exemplifies precision policing and commitment under pressure.
Behind the scenes, PLtCol Jojo G. Quitoriano and PCpl Rene B. Aquino Jr. of Regional Communications and Electronics Unit 6 were honored for their technical expertise in maintaining critical communications infrastructure — ensuring fast, coordinated response in line with the PNP’s 5-Minute Response Policy.
Their work reminds us that excellence isn’t only found on the front lines.
Institutional honors were also given. The Regional Mobile Force Battalion 6, led by Lt. Col. Alexander R. Rosales, was named Best Regional Mobile Force Battalion.
The 1st Aklan Provincial Mobile Force Company and Iloilo City Mobile Force Company were likewise awarded for their consistent performance and leadership in the field.
