MANILA, Philippines – Naka-full alert pa rin ang National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) sa dagsa ng mga biyahero sa Metro Manila ngayong Undas.
“So far, based on our observations while going around, the situation at bus terminals and cemeteries is generally manageable,” pahayag ni NCRPO Director Maj. Gen. Anthony Aberin sa panayam habang iniinspeksyon ang mga terminal ng bus sa Cubao, Quezon City.
“We are on full alert effective October 28 until November 3, 2025. All our police officers should be accounted for and report for duty, except those with medical conditions, and they should be ready to be deployed at any time,” dagdag pa niya.
Sinabi ni Aberin na walang namomonitor ang NCRPO na anumang banta sa rehiyon ngayong holiday weekend.
Hindi rin umano kailangan na magtalaga ng mga pulis bilang marshal para magbigay-seguridad sa mga bus.
“There is no reason for us to do that. You can just imagine with the total number of buses, we just might run out of officers to deploy… When there really is a need for us to do that, we will do it,” paliwanag niya. RNT/JGC
