“The announcement removes any ambiguity. The distancing was not rooted in governance reform. It was part of a larger electoral trajectory,” pahayag ni Ortega.
Aniya, nang maipit si Duterte sa isyu ng confidential at intelligence fund sa kanyang tanggapan sa Office of the Vice President (OVP) at Department of Education (DepEd) ay mas pinili nitong maging ktritikal sa administrasyon sa halip na sagutin ang mga paratang.
“No one disputes the existence of lawful confidential funds. The issue was accountability. Instead of addressing the substantive concerns raised during hearings, the conflict escalated politically. The timeline is clear. Questions were raised. Oversight mechanisms were activated. Instead of institutional engagement, we saw political disengagement,” ani Ortega.
“Succession politics reshape alliances. That is reality” giit pa ni Ortega.
“The Filipino people can evaluate the facts. The chronology speaks for itself,”pagtatapos pa ni Ortega. Gail Mendoza
