JAPAN – Mahigpit na minomonitor ng Japan ang lumalalang sitwasyon sa Middle East kasabay ng babala na mayroon itong matinding epekto sa energy security at national interests ng bansa.
Sa pahayag, sinabi ng Ministry of Foreign Affairs ng Japan (MOFA) na ang Tokyo ay sinusundan “with great concern” ang volatile situation sa rehiyon partikular ang pag-atake ng US at Israel sa Iran.
Ayon sa Japan, may epekto ito sa global energy markets at kaligtasan ng mga Japanese citizen sa ibang bansa.
“The situation in the Middle East has a significant impact on Japan, including from the perspective of energy security. Considering our national interests, the Government of Japan is closely monitoring the developments with great concern,” sinabi ni Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi.
Batay sa atas mula kay Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, nangangalap na ng impormasyon ang bansa sa pamamagitan ng komunikasyon sa iba pang bansa at ahensya.
“In cooperation with relevant ministries and agencies of Japan, the Government will take all possible measures to ensure the protection of Japanese nationals,” dagdag pa. RNT/JGC
