MANILA, Philippines – Isinugod sa pagamutan si Curlee Discaya, ang contractor na akusado sa flood control scandal upang maoperahan sa balikat, ayon sa Office of the Sergeant-At-Arms (OSAA) ng Senado.
Sa kalatas ng Public Relation and Information Bureau (PRIB) ng Senado, dinala sa pagamutan si Discaya base sa rekomendasyon ng Medical and Dental Bureau at Blue Ribbon Chairman Senate President Pro-Tempore Panfilo Lacson.
“Per Senate Sergeant-at-Arms Rene C. Samonte, upon the recommendation of the Medical Dental Bureau and Blue Ribbon Committee chair Sen. Panfilo Lacson and approval of Senate President Vicente C. Sotto III, Curlee Discaya was brought to the hospital this morning for the scheduled surgery of his right shoulder,” ayon sa PRIB.
Hindi binanggit kung saang ospital dinala si Discaya upang magpa-opera ng balikat.
Nakedetine si Discaya sa Senado sa kasong contempt ng Blue Ribbon matapos itong magsinungaling sa isinasagawang imbestigasyon sa multi-bilyong flood control program scandal. Ernie Reyes
