MANILA, Philippines – Humingi ng paumanhin ang Department of Education (DepEd) Schools Division ng Davao kaugnay sa “inappropriate behavior” ng ilang estudyante sa pagbisita ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
Ayon sa Schools Division, apat na mag-aaral ang sumasailalim sa angkop na disciplinary measures, guidance at counseling, at values formation interventions on responsible behavior, digital citizenship, at respeto sa kapwa.
Hindi naman tinukoy ng Schools Division ang insidenteng pinatutungkulan, bagamat nag-viral sa social media ang video ng mga estudyante na nambabastos sa Pangulo.
“We deeply regret the incident and assure the public that such conduct is not tolerated and does not reflect the values of respect, discipline, and responsibility that our schools uphold,” anang DepEd.
“We will continue to work closely with parents and the community to reinforce positive behavior and uphold the highest standards of student conduct.” RNT/JGC
