THE rich culture, vibrant heritage, and unique character of Malabon City took center stage as 42 young and confident candidates of Ginoo at Binibining Malabon 2026 proudly carried the colors and identity of their respective barangays, showcasing their beauty, confidence, and charm during the pageant’s Grand Coronation Night recently.
The highly anticipated coronation gathered candidates representing the city’s 21 barangays, who competed for the titles and the opportunity to serve as tourism ambassadors.
More than a celebration of beauty, the pageant highlighted the candidates’ confidence, personality, talent, discipline, and ability to embody the character and aspirations of their fellow Malabueños.
“Our Ginoo at Binibini don’t merely represent beauty. They represent Malabon—our culture, our history, and the dreams of our people. We celebrate not only our new titleholders but every candidate who courageously gave their time, talent, and heart for Malabon.”
“May they carry with them, wherever they go, the pride of being true Malabueños,” Mayor Jeannie Sandoval said.
To support the candidates and honor their achievements, a major prize package comprising cash incentives, brand contracts, scholarship grants, gift certificates, vouchers, photoshoot packages, and wellness gift packs was awarded to the top winners.
The grand winners got ₱50,000 cash each, a one-year contract worth ₱150,000 each as City Ambassadors, and ₱500,000 worth of scholarship grants each alongside gift certificates, vouchers, gift packs, and photoshoot packages—bringing their total prize package value to ₱740,000 per winner.
“We’re delighted to see the dedication of our youth in becoming effective ambassadors who will showcase Malabon’s colorful culture and stories,” said Catherine Larracas, acting City Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office head.
Through Ginoo at Binibining Malabon 2026, the city government continues to provide a platform for local talent while fostering pride in its heritage and giving young Malabueños the opportunity to represent their communities.
“In every stage of the competition, we witnessed the preparation, discipline, and determination of our candidates. The standards used to select our winners were not only about their stage presence but also their ability to become positive representatives of Malabon,” said City Administrator Dr. Alexander Rosete.
