MANILA, Philippines – Malapit nang makumpleto ang negosasyon para sa pag-take over ng pribadong sektor sa tatlong regional airports sa bansa, partikular sa Davao, Bicol at Siargao, ayon sa Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).

Kabilang sa proyekto ang bundled development,
operation, at maintenance ng private consortium sa Davao International Airport at Bicol International Airport sa mahigit 30-year concession period at Siargao Airport para sa 15-year concession period.

Ang P21.64 bilyong proyekto ay unsolicited proposal mula sa Philippine Regional Airports Consortium — na binubuo ng Filinvest Infra-Solutions Ventures, Inc., JG Summit Infrastructure Holding Corporation, at Asian Infrastructure and Management Corporation.

“It’s already in negotiations stage… it is about to be finished,” sinabi ni CAAP director general Raul del Rosario.
