Sinabi ni Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Secretary Henry Aguda noong Nobyembre 25 na wala siyang alam sa umano’y P6.5-bilyong insertion sa 2025 budget ng ahensya, na isiniwalat ni dating Congressman Zaldy Co.
Ayon kay Co, P5 bilyon ang napunta sa Free Public Internet Access Program ng DICT at P1.5 bilyon sa eGovernment Systems Development.
“None that I know of, because we’re (operating) within our NEP,” ani Aguda.
Dagdag pa niya, handa siyang suriin ang isyu ngunit hindi pa niya nakita ang dokumentong inilabas ni Co.
“The more people are looking into government transactions, the better. But at DICT, we’re always transparent,” giit pa ni Aguda.
Sinabi rin niya na ang mga proyekto tulad ng Bayanihan SIM Project ay dumaan sa tamang bidding at bukas sa pampublikong pagsusuri. Dave Baluyot
