MANILA, Philippines – Kinansela ng flag carrier na Philippine Airlines ang ilang flight patungo at mula sa Middle East kasunod ng mga strike na inilunsad ng Estados Unidos at Israel sa Iran nitong Sabado, Pebrero 28.
Nauna nang sinuspinde kahapon, Pebrero 28 ang mga sumusunod na flight:
Samantala, sinuspinde rin ang flight ngayong Linggo, Marso 1, 2026 sa PR685 (Doha-Manila).
Sa abiso, sinabi ng PAL na kinansela nila ang mga flight “due to restrictions in flight operations in the concerned Middle East stations.”
Nagpatupad din ng flight diversion ang PAL sa mga sumusunod na flight:
PR654 (Manila – Riyadh), umalis ng Manila nitong Sabado, at bumalik sa Manila 10:40 ng gabi.
PR658 (Manila – Dubai), umalis ng Manila nitong Sabado at nakabalik sa Manila ng 9:52 ng gabi.
Cebu Pacific
“To ensure the safety and well-being of our passengers and crew, Flight 5J 14, which departed for Dubai on February 28, will return to Manila and is estimated to arrive at 10:45 p.m. Consequently, its return service, Flight 5J 15, has been canceled,” saad sa abiso ng Cebu Pacific.
“Flights 5J 14/15 Manila-Dubai-Manila scheduled for March 1 are also canceled.”
Samantala, hinimok ng New NAIA Infra Corp. ang mga biyahero na alamin ang flight status bago magtungo sa paliparan.
“Passengers are encouraged to contact their airline directly for the latest updates, confirm their booking before travel, and ensure their contact details are updated to receive notifications,” sinabi ng NNIC.
“Families and friends meeting arriving passengers are likewise advised to verify arrival times with the airline before heading to the airport, as schedules may change.” RNT/JGC
