MANILA, Philippines – Lumahok si Bohol Governor Aris Aumentado sa Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), isang national political party na pinamumunuan ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
Si Aumentado kasama ang apat iba pang gobernador na sina Siquijor Gov. Jake Villa, Bataan Gov. Joet Garcia, Mountain Province Gov. Bonifacio Lacwasan, at Surigao del Sur Gov. Alexander Pimentel ay nanumpa bilang mga bagong miyembro ng PFP sa harap ni South Cotabato Gov. Reynaldo Tamayo Jr. nitong Huwebes, Agosto 8 sa Manila.
Si Tamayo ang pangulo ng PFP at League of Provinces of the Philippines.
“We are supporting the programs of the current administration that’s why we formally took oath as members of the PFP of our honorable President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.,” ani Aumentado.
Sa oathtaking, ipinresenta ni Aumentado kay Tamayo ang manifesto na pirmado ng mga opisyal ng Bohol na nagpahayag ng suporta kay Marcos.
Ang manifesto ay pirmado ni Aumentado at Bohol Reps. Maria Vanessa Aumentado, Edgardo Chato, at Kristine Alexie Tutor, Tagbilaran City Mayor Jane Yap, Fernando Estavilla, pangulo ng League of the Municipalities-Bohol chapter; Romulo Cepedoza, pangulo ng Liga ng mga Barangay-Bohol chapter; Nicanor Besas, pangulo ng Philippine Councilors League of the Philippines-Bohol chapter; Lawrence Xavier Ancla, pangulo ng Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Bohol, at Jiselle Rae Villamor, pangulo ng National Movement of Young Legislators-Bohol chapter.
“We, the undersigned, on behalf of the 1.3 million Boholanos, and the local governments and leagues we represent, hereby pledge our solid and unwavering support to His Excellency Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr., President of the Republic of the Philippines, and to his Bagong Pilipinas vision of national honor and prosperity, inclusive development, and love of country,” anila.
