MANILA, Philippines- Nilalayon ni Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla ng mabawasan ang paperwork para sa local chief executives sa pamamagitan ng digitalization sa June 2025.
Ayon sa Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) nitong Biyernes, nakikipagtulungan si Remulla sa Commission on Audit at sa Civil Service Commission upang padaliin ang pagproseso ng mga dokumento para sa local government units (LGUs).
“We (DILG) would come up with a program. By June 30, 2025, the papers you sign for 15 hours a week, we will reduce to just one hour a week,” pahayag ni Remulla.
“By digitalization, simplifying the forms, that’ll all be simplified into one hour a week,” dagdag niya.
Sa kanyang 2022 State of the Nation Address, isinulong ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na i-digitize ng pamahalaan ang mga serbisyo upang gawin itong mas “accessible.” RNT/SA
