Public knowledge that Billy was once part of ABS-CBN’s noontime show nang ilang taon.
A greater hosting opportunity beckoned for Billy.
He left It’s Showtime in favor of TV5’s Lunch Out Loud na nawala rin sa ere makaraan ng mahigit isang taon.
It had a good run though.
Kaso, there’s no denying the fact na sa pag-alis ni Billy ay nakasamaan niya ng loob ang main host nitong si Vice Ganda.
Damay na rin ang ibang Showtime hosts who begrudged Billy dahil sa kanyang desisyon.
Pero a thing of the past na ‘yon.
Ang pagsulpot ni Billy sa special episode for Vhong only indicated that all’s well.
Inalala nga ni Billy ang pinagsamahan nila ni Vhong during his Showtime stint.
To begin with, may chapel sa loob ng ABS-CBN compound.
Kuwento ni Billy, bago raw magsimulang umere ang show ay sabay sila ni Vhong na dumadaan sa chapel.
“Also during the show pag may gap (commercial break) o may segment where we weren’t needed,” balik-tanaw ni Billy.
Itinuturing din niyang tunay na kaibigan ang dating co-host.
Sa bandang huli, in-assure ni Billy that he’s just around for Vhong.
If ever may planong i-reinstate sa programa, will Billy be willing enough to return?
