Ang nasabing group represents the modern evolution of the once-controversial D’ Bodies, which became a sensation in 2003 after their much-talked-about pictorial at the Baywalk area along Roxas Boulevard.
Although several original members of D’ Bodies have since moved abroad and started families, their sultry and unforgettable image remains in public consciousness.
Some were recently invited to reunite as a competing team on the top-rating afternoon game show Family Feud on GMA7 (the Kapuso network), where they showcased their signature charm and energy.
Now, a reimagined and rebranded version emerges with Bodies: Next Gen—a group of 13 captivating young performers infused with a K-pop-inspired concept, bringing a fresh and modern approach to entertainment.
This exciting transformation is the vision of renowned talent discoverer and entrepreneur Marynette Gamboa, under her company Premiere WaterPlus Production.
Marynette, a former mayor from the Ilocos region, recently made her return to Philippine showbiz as the producer of the highly anticipated movie Idol: The April Boy Regino Story.
