MANILA, Philippines – Lubhang ikinabahala muli ni Senador Risa Hontiveros ang natuklasan ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) na may dalawang Shiela Guo ang kanilang nasabat bukod sa dalawang Alice Guo.
Sa ginanap na pagdinig sa Senado, sinabi ni Hontiveros na natuklasan ng NBI na iisang tao sina Shiela Leal Guyo agt isang Chinese national na may pangalang Zhang Mier.
Naunang kinumpirma ng NBI na magkatulad ang fingerprints ng dating alkalde kay Guo Hua Ping, na isang Chinese national.
Binanggit ni Hontiveros habang binabalik ang presentasyon ng NBI, natuklasan ng ahensiya na may NBI clearance na pag-aari ng isang Shiela Leal Guo, ngunit may ibng litrato.
Sa ginanap na pagdinig ng magkakasanib na komite, ang Senate committees on women and children, transportation, public order, inamin ni Shiela na ipinanganak siya sa China at hindi niya tunay na kapatid si Alice, ang pinatalsik na Bamban, Tarlac mayor.
Katulad ni Alice, magkatulad din ang araw ng kapanganakan ni Shiela Guo sa records sa NBI clearance na pawang ibang tao.
“So like Alice Guo…Is this another case of stolen identity?” ani Hontiveros.
“False information, different photos, but they have same date of application, same application date for delayed birth registration. Both of them had their NBI records applied on Nov. 3, 2005 and the next day Nov. 4 was their application for delayed birth registration,” giit niya.
Natuklasan sa records ng NBI na magkatulad ang address nina Shiela at Alice sa Project 8, Quezon City at idineklara nilang Tarlac ang lugar ng kanilang kapanganakan.
“Is it a coincidence that there are two Alice Leal Guos who were born on July 12, 1986 in Tarlac? Is it a coincidence that this NBI clearance was applied for just a few days before the date of filing of the delayed registration of birth of the other Alice Leal Guo in Tarlac City? Or is this a case of stolen identity?” ayon kay Hontiveros.
Hindi rin pinaniniwalaan nang todo ni Hontiveros ang litanya ni Shiela sa kanilang pagtakas nina Alice at Wesley dahil may itinatago itong mahalagang impormasyon.
“She admitted some things that checks out with the information we previously gathered. But there are still some things she said that are questionable,” ayon sa mambabatas.
“She may still be hiding something and we still detected some lies. It’s hard to believe that she had absolutely no idea where they were going. It’s also hard to believe that he doesn’t know why she signed so many documents of their businesses,” giit pa niya.
Ani Hontiveros na baka nagsisinungaling si Shiela Guo o talagang ignorante lang talaga.
“But as I said, even though their parents falsified their documents when they were young, they have long been adults now and are very able to correct those wrongs. Either way, whatever she says, if it doesn’t match the evidence, she will still be held liable,” ayon sa senador.
“These people are not saints. Their own colleagues, who are said to be family members, were left in the air, and it looks like Shiela will take all the blame until Alice Guo is caught,” dagdag niya.
Umaasa din si Hontiveros na hindi siya papayag na magpagamit at akuin ang kanilang set-up o makipagtulungan sa awtoridad ng Pilipinas.
