MANILA, Philippines – Nahuli ang convoy ng hinihinalang mambabatas matapos dumaan sa EDSA Busway.
Ang SUV na bahagi ng convoy ay may ordinary plate number ngunit naka-display ang seal ng Kamara.
Inisyuhan ng Special Action and Intelligence Committee for Transportation (SAICT) ng traffic violation ticket ang drayber.
Hindi pa malinaw kung nakasakay sa isa sa mga sasakyan sa convoy ang mambabatas.
Ayon sa Department of Transportation, ang mga pinapayagan lamang dumaan sa EDSA Busway ay ang mga sumusunod:
LTFRB-authorized buses para sa EDSA busway route, kabilang ang mga bus na may special permits o prangkisa para mag-operate ng ruta sa EDSA busway;
on-duty ambulances, fire trucks, at sasakyan ng Philippine National Police;
service vehicles na nagsasagawa ng trabaho sa EDSA Busway Project,
at ang mga sasakyan ng President of the Philippines, Vice President of the Philippines, Senate President, Speaker of the House of Representatives at Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. RNT/JGC
