MANILA, Philippines- Sinimulan ng Philippine Air Force (PAF) at ng United States Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) nitong Lunes ang kanilang Cope Thunder Exercise para sa taong ito sa Clark Air Base sa Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
Sinabi ng PAF na pinangunahan nina chief Lieutenant General Arthur Cordura at Air National Guard Mobilization Assistant to the PACAF Commander Major General Christopher J. Sheppard ang opening ceremony.
Mula April 7 hanggang 18, isasagawa ang Cope Thunder Philippines 2025 sa Northern Luzon partikular sa Basa Air Base at Clark Air Base sa Pampanga maging sa Colonel Ernesto Ravina Air Base sa Tarlac.
May kabuuang 729 PAF personnel maging iba’t ibang uri ng aircraft kabilang ang FA-50PH, A-29B Super Tucano, S-76A at S70i Blackhawk helicopters ang ide-deploy para sa pagsasanay.
Samantala, nagpadala ang PACAF ng kabuuang 250 personnel at 12 F-16 fighter jets.
Tututukan ng Cope Thunder Philippines 2025 ang field training exercises sa aircraft maneuvers at tactics, base sa PAF.
“CT PH 25-1 marks a key milestone in enhancing joint operational readiness and deepening defense ties between the Philippines and the United States, contributing to the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ modernization and capability development efforts,” pahayag ng PAF. RNT/SA
