MANILA, Philippines – ITINALAGA ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. si Loumer Bernabe bilang deputy administrator ng Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA).
Sa harap ni Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Giovanni Lopez, nanumpa sa kanyang bagong tungkulin si Bernabe.
“In line with the President’s directive, Secretary Lopez has tasked Bernabe with prioritizing vessel safety, operational digitalization, seafarer welfare, industry modernization, and active stakeholder engagement through the Multi-Sector Governance Council (MSGC),” ayon sa kalatas ng DOTr.
Taong 2021, natapos ang mahigit sa 30 taon sa military service ni Bernabe bilang commander ng Philippine Fleet.
Nagsilbi siya bilang regional director ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) mula 2021 hanggang 2025 at executive director hanggang Abril 19, 2026. KRIS JOSE
