MANILA, Philippines – Makakatanggap ng performance-based bonus (PBB) ang mga empleyado ng Department of Education (DepEd), maging ang public school teachers para sa taong 2023.
Sa press release ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM) nitong Huwebes, sinabi nito na isang Technical Working Group ang nakatakdang magpulong sa Setyembre 30 para pormal na maglabas ng resolusyon na nagdedeklarang karapat-dapat ang DepEd para sa grant ng 2023 PBB.
Ang halaga ng naaprubahang badyet ay hindi pa natatapos.
“I am happy to announce to our colleagues in DepEd, especially to our teachers, that after thorough deliberation, they have been confirmed eligible to receive their performance-based bonus for the year 2023. This is in accordance with the directive of our President Bongbong Marcos to recognize their contribution, hard work, and dedication in strengthening the education system of our country,” saad ni Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandmaan sa isang pahayag.
“Without them [our teachers], we would not be here either, so it is only right that we continue to give them motivation and the benefits they deserve,” dagdag niya.
Bukod sa mga empleyado ng DepEd, 110,688 na mga kwalipikadong opisyal at empleyado ng Philippine Army (PA) ang nakatakda ring tumanggap ng kanilang 2023 PBB matapos aprubahan ng DBM ang paglabas ng P1.64 bilyong pondo para sa kanilang mga bonus.
Ang bawat kwalipikadong opisyal at empleyado ng PA ay bibigyan ng PBB na katumbas ng 45.50 porsiyento ng kanilang buwanang suweldo, batay sa kanilang rate noong Disyembre 31, 2023. RNT/MND
