MANILA, Philippines- Nasa 59 Pilipino sa ibang bansa ang nahaharap sa death sentences, karamihan ay dahil sa murder, ayon sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) nitong Miyerkules.
“About 59,” pahayag ni Foreign Affairs Usec. Eduardo De Vega. “Most are in countries with an informal moratorium on death penalty.”
Inihayag ng DFA official na ang mga Pilipinong ito ay nasa Malaysia at Saudi Arabia.
“For those in countries like Saudi Arabia, we continue to try to find ways for them to be pardoned by families of the persons they killed,” wika ni De Vega.
