MANILA, Philippines- Nagbabala ang Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) sa publiko laban sa mga indibidwal at mga grupo na humihikayat sa overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) na mamuhunan sa housing projects ng pamahalaan kapalit ng kaakit-akit na return rates.
Inihayag ito ni DHSUD Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar matapos malkatanggap ng ulat ng investment scam na gumagamit sa Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program ng gobyerno.
“We would like to emphasize that we are not accepting investors for the 4Ph projects. The DHSUD did not authorize any individual or group to transact with any people, including OFWs for this investment scheme,” giit ni Acuzar.
Hinimok ni Acuzar ang publiko na iulat ang anumang impormasyon ukol sa mga pribadong indibidwal o grupo na nagpapanggap na mga “ahente” ng 4PH at binigyang-diin na ang mga interesado sa 4PH sumangguni lamang dapat sa DHSUD o sa kanilang host local government units (LGUs).
“We will exert the full force of the law against these unscrupulous individuals or groups preying on unsuspecting victims. The DHSUD will not tolerate any illegal act meant to discredit or derail the current implementation of 4PH in various parts of the country,” ani Acuizar.
