Manila, Philippines- Opisyal nang na-nominate ang tinaguriang Star for All Seasons Vilma Santos-Recto sa Order of National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts.
Ang anunsiyo ay mula mismo kay Dingdong Dantes, ang president ng Aktor (League of Filipino Actors).
Ang samahang ito ang isa sa mga nag-endorso kay Ate Vi with matching documents and video materials, sa National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA).
“Vilma Santos has turned in incomparable works for six decades.
“She is a paragon of professionalism, a cultural champion and nation-builder,” saad pa ni Dingdong.

Bukod sa pagiging most awarded actress,
ang tinaguriang numero unong aktres ay nagsilbi ng tatlong termino as mayor of Lipa City (1998 to 2007) and three-term governor of Batangas City (2007 to 2016).
