THE Quad Committee continues ramping up its investigations over the crimes and anomalies including extrajudicial killings, illegal drug trade and the illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators , among others.
The characters involved with these crimes are slowly coming into light and all pieces of evidence appear to be pointing at former president Rodrigo Roa Duterte and his henchmen.
Things started during the raid of the Bamban POGO where there were reports of human trafficking and scamming.
The POGO is located right at the backyard of the municipal hall of Bamban in Tarlac where Alice Guo, a suspected Chinese spy who infiltrated the Philippines and its political system, was recently seated as mayor.
The raid revealed that there’s a possible connection with another illegal POGO hub in Porac, Pampanga.
The land where the Porac POGO hub is located is owned by Whirlwind Corporation and being leased by Lucky South 99, with both companies having a connection with former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque.
Witnesses presented during the QuadComm hearings also revealed that money generated from illegal POGO operations were also used in the war on drugs.
The war on drugs was a primary policy of FPRRD and carried out by former PNP chief, now senator, Bato Dela Rosa.
Funding for the reward system in the systematic killings of drug linked personalities were said to have been sourced from the illegal POGO operations.
Ex-Customs officer Jimmy Guban revealed during the QuadComm hearing that former presidential son and Davao Rep. Polong Duterte, Second Gentleman Mans Carpio, the husband of VP Sara Duterte, and ex-presidential economic advisor Michael Yang were involved in illegal drug smuggling.
The once formidable Duterte stronghold over the masses is slowly beginning to crumble as the public seems to be seeing the true color of the FPRRD and his minions.
Now that his power is dwindling and public sentiment is turning against him, people are now starting to rise against the apparent tyranny of the former president.
Also, the QuadComm is knocking at the right doors and are getting the correct information that FPRRD and his henchmen don’t want to be revealed.
