MANILA, Philippines- Pinatawan muli ng parusa ng Supreme Court si Presidential Adviser on appberty Alleviation of the Philippines Lorenzo “Larry” G. Gadon.
Napatunayan ng SC En Banc na guilty si Gadon sa gross misconduct dahil sa ginawang perjury at mga akusasyon batay lamang sa tsismis.
Sa rekord ng kaso, sinampahan si Gadon sa Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) ng disbarment dahil sa mga kasinungalingan sa isinampa nitong impeachment complaint noon kay Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno sa House of Representatives.
Inireklamo din si Gadon ng pagsasampa ng mga walang basehang kaso laban sa sa opisyal ng Supreme Court.
Sinang-ayunan ng SC ang naging findings ng IBP ngunit binago nito ang parusa.
“The Court ruled that Gadon was guilty of gross misconduct punishable by disbarment. However, since he had already been previously disbarred, the penalty of disbarment will no longer be imposed but nevertheless recorded in his personal file. “
Inatasan rin si Gadon na magbayad ng ₱150,000 na multa at idineklara na hindi na karapat dapat na patawarin ng Korte. Teresa Tavares
