MANILA, Philippines – Sinabi ng National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) nitong Sabado, Oktubre 4 na ang electricity grid ng bansa ay nananatiling normal sa kabila ng epekto ng Severe Tropical Storm (STS) Paolo.
Sa abiso, sinabi ng NGCP na”transmission grid operations remain normal following the landfall of Severe Tropical Storm Paolo.”
“No damage to NGCP facilities has been reported,” dagdag pa.
“With the exit of STS Paolo, which no longer poses a threat to NGCP facilities, the Overall Command Center (OCmC) will be deactivated,” sinabi ng grid operator.
“NGCP assures the public that it continues to closely monitor weather disturbances and stands ready to reactivate the OCmC should there be any risk to its transmission facilities.”
