MANILA, Philippines- May kabuuang 49,125 police officers ang tumaas ang ranggo.
Na-promote ang police officers sa ilalim ng Calendar Year 2023 regular promotion at sa 1st quarter Calendar Year 2024 continuous promotion programs, ayon sa Philippine National Police (PNP) batay sa news release nitong Martes.
Base sa PNP Directorate for Personnel and Records Management (DPRM), kabilang dito ang 161 pulis na na-promote sa ranggong Police Lieutenant Colonel; 467 sa Police Major; 853 sa Police Captain; 2,442 sa Police Lieutenant; 4,282 sa Police Executive Master Sergeant; 5,334 sa Police Chief Master Sergeant; 6,116 sa Police Senior Master Sergeant; 11,426 sa Police Master Sergeant; 11,930 sa Police Staff Sergeant; at 6,114 sa Police Corporal.
Sabay-sabay na umarangkada ang promotion ceremonies sa buong bansa nitong Lunes ng hapon sa 17 Police Regional Offices at Police Provincial Offices na pinangangasiwaan ng kaukulang regional at provincial directors.
Samantala, pinangunahan ni PNP chief Gen. Benjamin Acorda Jr. ang seremonya para sa 2,027 newly-promoted personnel na naka-base sa PNP National Headquarters sa Camp Crame, Quezon City.
“With higher rank comes greater accountability and leadership expectations. Lead by example, uphold the principles of integrity and professionalism, and prioritize the safety and well-being of the communities we serve as a demonstration of your love for our country,” giit ni Acorda.
