Higit P16M shabu nasamsam sa Palo, Leyte

MANILA, Philippines – Nasamsam ng mga awtoridad ang mahigit dalawang kilo ng shabu na nagkakahalaga ng P16 milyon sa operasyon sa Palo, Leyte.

Pinaniniwalaang ang mga ito ay ibebenta sa Cebu.

Ayon sa PDEA, ang operasyon ay ikinasa nitong Biyernes, Nobyembre 14 sa Barangay Guindapunan, Palo, Leyte.

“Confiscated during the operation were twenty-one (21) packs of suspected shabu weighing around 2.4 kilograms with an estimated average market value of P16,320,000, buy-bust money, two (2) digital weighing scales, two (2) cellular phones, and other non-drug evidence,” saad sa pahayag ng PDEA.

Dalawang suspek ang naaresto sa naturang operasyon.

“PDEA 7 Regional Director Joel B. Plaza identified the arrested suspects as alias Ana (subject of the operation), 23, and her live-in partner and cohort, alias Buding, 34. Both are fruit vendors and residents of Barangay Poblacion 6, Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte,” sinabi ng PDEA.

Ang mga ebidensya ay ipinadala sa PDEA 8 Office Laboratory para sa chemical analysis at tamang disposisyon.

Naka-detain naman ang mga suspek sa PDEA 8 detention facility. RNT/JGC
