TAGUIG, Philippines – Inaresto ng Taguig City Police Station, alinsunod sa intensified campaign against illegal drugs, ang dalawang bagong na-identify na Street-Level Individuals (SLI) sa Brgy. Pinagsama nitong August 13, 2025 dakong alas-11:10 ng gabi.
Nakumpiska ng mga personnel ng Taguig City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) ang mga hinihinalang ilegal na droga.
Ang mga suspek ay kinilala na sina alias Rey, at alias Jeremie.
Narekober sa buy-bust operation ng mga undercover operatives ang anim na heat-sealed plastic sachets na naglalaman ng hinihinalang shabu, na may total estimated weight na 31.1 grams at may estimated street value na Php 211,480.00.
Kabilang sa nasamsam ang isang hundred-peso bill na buy-bust money at dalawang coin purse.
Ang nakumpiskang illegal drugs ay dinala sa Southern Police District Forensic Unit para sa chemical analysis habang dinala naman ang mga suspek sa police station para sa “proper documentation and disposition” habang inihahanda ang mga kasong ihaharap sa piskalya na paglabag sa Republic Act 9165, mas kilalang Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
“This successful operation, which led to the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of a substantial amount of shabu, is a testament to our unwavering commitment to rid our communities of illegal drugs.
