MANILA, Philippines- Nag-alok ng tulong sa Japan Self-Defense Force ang militar ng Pilipinas nitong Martes Japan kasunod ng magnitude 7.6 na lindol na tumama sa western coastline ng Japan nitong Enero 1, 2024.
“In times of crisis, international cooperation becomes paramount, and the AFP expresses its readiness to collaborate with the JSDF in any way deemed necessary. The AFP remains committed to fostering strong bonds of friendship and cooperation with the Japan Self-Defense Force, united in our shared dedication to safeguarding the well-being of our respective nations and contributing to global peace and security,” pahayag ni Armed Forces chief of staff Romeo Brawner.
Sumampa na sa anim ang bilang ng nasawi sa nasabing lindol na tumama sa central Japan, ayon sa mga awtoridad nitong Martes.
Ayon sa ulat, iniimbestigahan ang pagkakatuklas sa dalawa pang bangkay,”one in Nanao city and one in Shika town” matapos makumpirma ang apat na pagkasawi kasunod ng lindol na tumama sa main island ng Honshu. RNT/SA
