Kampo ni VP Sara umaasa, pagmamarka ng ebidensya sa impeachment matatapos na

MANILA, Philippines – Umaasa ang defense team ni Vice President Sara Duterte nitong Huwebes, Hunyo 25 na matatapos na ngayong hapon ang pre-trial conference para sa impeachment case laban dito.

Ayon kay Atty. Michael Poa, isa sa legal counsek ni Duterte, ang pagmamarka ng documentary evidence para sa Article I at II ay inaasahag matatapos na ngayong hapon.

“We are very optimistic that we will be able to finish by end of day today ang ating marking,” sinabi ni Poa.

“At least dun sa marking station ko, the one that I’m handing, I think we will be able to finish by 3 p.m. or 4 p.m. I also consulted my two counsels, the defense team, and sila din, very optimistic na matatapos din nila. Hopefully, matapos talaga… Kung ma-extend man, baka tomorrow, yun na yung latest,” dagdag pa niya.

Ang pre-trial conference ay nasa ikalimang sesyon na.

Natapos na ng dalawang kampo ang pre-marking ng mga ebidensya para sa Articles III at IV.

“Both Articles are still there, Articles I and II, but as you know, nagkaroon ng two marking stations…So that’s why we’re optimistic. I wouldn’t say confident, but at least optimistic na matatapos kami,” sinabi ni Poa. RNT/JGC
