MANILA, Philippines- Itinanggi ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang pagpapalabas ng memorandum ukol sa “kanselasyon” ng Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) sa mga tauhan nito at tinawag ang umano’y memorandum na kumakalat online na “absolutely fake news”.
Anang PNP, na-monitor nito ang umano’y kopya ng “memorandum” sa government-issued incentive na kumakalat online.
Tinawag na “fake news” ng PNP ang umano’y memo na gumagamit sa letterhead ng ahensya, na mariin din nitong itinanggi na may kautusang kanselahin ang SRI.
“The circulating document is absolutely fake news and should not be considered legitimate or credible,” giit nito.
“The Finance Service (FS), in coordination with the Directorate for Personnel and Records Management (DPRM), is working diligently to ensure that all qualified PNP personnel will receive their SRI,” dagdag nito.
“We urge the public, particularly our personnel, to exercise caution and discernment when encountering unverified information that undermines the integrity of the PNP.”
Iimbestigahan ng PNP ang pekeng memo at “appropriate charges will be filed against individuals found culpable for this deliberate attempt to mislead and sow confusion within our ranks and the general public.” RNT/SA
