Manila, Philippines- Ang mag-inang Broadway star na si Lea Salonga at anak na si Nic Chien ang tampok sa April 4 issue ng People Magazine.

In the article, Lea talked about her journey involving her transson, now 18 years old.

Labing-apat na taong gulang pa lang daw si Nic nang ma-realize niya kung ano’t sino siya.

Upon reaching 18, this is when he began transitioning to the person he wanted.

Nag-take na rin siya ng testosterone.

Sa punto ring ito where Nic had to tell his parents about it.

Agad naman daw siyang tinanggap ng mga ito.

In Lea’s words about Nic’s dad Rob Chien: “He’s incredibly supportive!”

Practically exposed to all kinds of people, hindi na nakapagtataka kung ganoon na lang ka-welcoming si Lea sa landas na tinatahak ng anak.

For sure, Lea is as much supportive of Nic who looks just as talented. Ronnie Carrasco III
