HAHAYAAN ng Malakanyang na umiral ang legal process kaugnay sa grave threats at inciting to sedition charges laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte.
Sa isang panayam, sinabi ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin na hindi makikialam ang Malakanyang sa nagpapatuloy na criminal investigation.
“We are aware of that, but we are going to let the process proceed on its own,” ayon kay Bersamin.
“Because this is about a criminal investigation, the Department of Justice (DOJ) will have the fullest autonomy. We cannot give directions as far as these matters go,” dagdag na wika nito.
“We will leave that into the hands of the investigators. This process will go through the full course,” ayon pa rin kay Bersamin.
Nauna rito, hindi na nasorpresa si VP Sara sa inirekomendang kaso sa kanya ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
Ang nagtulak sa rekomendasyong ito ay ang hindi niya pagdalo sa ahensya noong nakaraang taon.
Bwelta ng bise presidente, inaasahan na niya ang mga ibibinbin na kaso.
Matatandaang nagpatawag ng imbestigasyon ang NBI kaugnay sa pagbabanta ni Duterte kina Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr., First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, at Martin Romualdez.
Nauna rito, nakapagsampa na ang Philippine National Police ng direct assault, disobedience, at grave coercion laban sa bise presidente. Kris Jose
