MANILA, Philippines – Kasunod ng pagtaas ng approval ratings ng PDP Laban senatoriables ay mismong ang liderato ng Kamara ang nanawagan upang kumilos at magkaisa ang mga kongresista upang matiyak ang panalo ng kandidato sa pagka-Senador ng gobyerno.
Umapela si House Speaker Martin Romualdez sa nabanggit na mga kongresista na siguraduhin ang panalo ng Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas senatorial team sa kani-kanilang distrito.
Sa pulong na ginanap sa Imelda Hall, Aguado Residence sa Malacañang ay binigyang diin ng kongresista ang iisang pagkilos para sa tagumpay ng Alyansa.
“We need to put extra effort into our Alyansa candidates. As I’ve said in many of our gatherings, we must vote straight Alyansa. We have to go that extra mile for them, and that’s why we’re here. Let’s all pull together for the Alyansa slate of the President. We must combine our political networks, local machinery and grassroots support to deliver a clear and convincing victory,” ayon pa sa lider ng Kamara.
Dumalo sa pulong ang mga kongresista na kabilang sa Lakas-CMD, Nacionalista Party (NP), Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC), National Unity Party (NUP), at Party-list Coalition Foundation Inc. (PCFI).
“These are men and women who will stand by the President as he steers the country forward. They are not just allies in name, but true partners in nation-building.”
Binanggit pa ni Romualdez ang pagsisikap ng mga kaalyado ng gobyerno na suportahan ang Alyansa slate.
Hiningan na rin ng tulong ng liderato ng Kamara ang may 40 partylist sa Kongreso.
“Your endorsement carries weight. You are trusted voices in your districts. The people listen to you, and now is the time to speak with clarity and conviction in favor of the Alyansa team.”
Giit pa nito na hindi ito ang panahon upang upuan ang kampanya lalo pa at papalapit ang kampanya.
“This is not the time to sit back. This is the time to go all in. Let us not be distracted by the noise. We must focus.” Meliza Maluntag
