MANILA, Philippines – MASAYA ang Kingdom of Saudi Arabia na tanggapin ang mga Filipino sa Middle Eastern country.
Sa katunayan, sinabi ni Charge d’Affaires a.i Abdullah Saad Alshahri na ang Saudi Arabian government ay nagpapalabas ng libo-libong visa, araw-araw para sa mga filipino.
“We are happy to have any Filipinos, I can tell you we are issuing everyday more than a thousand visas for Filipinos going to Saudi Arabia, either for Umrah, either to work there, either to participate in the development of Saudi Arabia, we have a lot of projects,”ang sinabi ni Alshahri.
“Either for Umra, or to work, or for tourism, or to visit their families, they are most welcome, we are happy to issue,” aniya pa rin.
Inihayag ito ni Alshahri sa sidelines ng Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s turnover of dates (edible sweet fruit mula sa date palm trees) sa Philippine government para ipagbunyi ang relasyon sa pagitan ng dalawang bansa.
“The Saudi dates, it’s very important and one of the special food products in Saudi Arabia. But we are here not to sell it, but to present it as a gift. That I would say a message of love between two countries,” ang sinabi ni Alshahri.
Ang ‘Saudi dates’ ay tinanggap ni National Commission on Muslim Filipinos Secretary Sabuddin Abdurahim.
Samantala, ang Pilipinas ay kabilang sa 105 bansa na nakikinabang sa mga proyekto ng King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, itinatag para palawakin ang relief efforts ng Saudi Arabian government sa buong mundo.
“King Salman has committed for now more than 16 projects in the Philippines – health sector, and food security, and agriculture security,” ayon pa rin kay Alshahri. Kris Jose
