TAGUIG — Iginiit ng hepe ng National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) na pananagutin nito ang mga pulis na lalabag sa Police Operational Procedure o POP.
“Of course they will be subjected to administrative investigation for any lapses sa mga policies and guidelines na ini-issue po ng inyong lingkod at saka po ‘yung policies and guidelines po ng Philippine National Police,” ani P/BGen. Anthony Aberin sa isang press briefing sa Camp Bagong Diwa sa Taguig.
Ito ay kasunod ng insidente ng pamamaril sa Bonifacio Global City na nasaksihan ni Rep. France Castro.
“We have to admit, they were subjected for investigation and nakikita naman natin that initial investigation, we have found out that there was really lapses on the part of the policemen on the ground, so immediately ordered the relief of the chief of police and station commander and those personnel who are directly involved dun sa pagpapaputok po sa alleged responde sa kalsada,” wika ni Aberin.
“Anyway they will be given due process, they can air their side on of course the administrative proceeding na inorder po natin. And I believe eventually, malalabas po ang katotohanan and kung wala po silang na-violate na policy o guidelines coming from the PNP, then of course mapapawalang sala po sila,” patuloy niya.
“Kung kailangan aabot dun sa district director, I won’t be minding relieving also the district director, it will serve as a strong warning, wala po tayong sinasanto dito pagka nakita natin na may pagkakamali ang isang mataas na opisyal ay dapat pong managot sa kanilang pagkakamali.”
“Hindi po sila dapat nandiyan, dapat ang ilagay po natin diyan ‘yung mga responsableng opisyal, ngayon if they remiss their duties and responsibilities they are not supposed to be there, we will put someone who are better and who can do the job,” aniya pa.
Nagpaalala naman ang opisyal sa mga tauhan ukol sa POP.
“Kailangan ma-explain natin kung ano ‘yung POP, ang pinaka importante diyan is when to make arrests, when to draw your firearms, and when to fire your firearms. ‘Yun lang naman ang most important, the rest ile-lecture natin during pre-deployment operations briefing,” pahayag ng opisyal.
“Actually, they are already [under] pre-charged investigation, I have ordered the district director to conduct necessary investigation, and of course let’s hear their side,” dagdag ng opisyal.
“I believe may na-violate po na police operational procedure kasi hindi ka naman puwedeng magpaputok, wala na pong warning shot eh, hindi po tayo nagwa-warning shot po dapat,” tinuran pa ni Aberin. RNT/SA
