MANILA, Philippines – Matinding kinondena ni Senador Grace Poe ang nabuhay na “tanim-bala” modus operandi sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) na nakapam-biktima ng 69 gulang na senior citizen kamakailan.
Sa pahayag, bagamat pinasalamatan ni Poe, dating chairman ng Senate committee on public services, si Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon sa pagsasagawa ng agarang imbestigasyon, kailangan din tulungan ang di binanggit na biktima.
“We welcome the swift action of DOTr Secretary Dizon on the “tanim-bala” incident. As the investigation proceeds, we hope assistance could be extended to the 69-year-old victim of this disturbing cas,” ayon kay Poe.
Sinabi ni Poe na hindi dapat mangyari sa inosenteng manlalakbay ang trauma at problemang ganito na ginawa ng ilang tiwaling airport personnel na magbibigay sana ng seguridad, hindi ilagay sa alanganin ang kanilang kaligtasan.
“Concerned authorities must not allow this defanged scheme to make a comeback to pester passengers anew. The recent “tanim-bala” incident as claimed by a 69-year-old passenger is disturbing,” giit ni Poe.
Aniya, dapat may managot sa insidente kundi patuloy at magpapatuloy ang ganitong panggigipit sa pasahero laban sa malaya at maayos na paglalakbay.
