MANILA, Philippines – Nagbitiw sa pwesto si National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) commissioner Edilberto Leonardo matapos itong ma-cite in contempt kamakailan ng House Quad Committee dahil sa umano’y pagsisinungaling.
“I was able to read a letter that his resignation had been accepted. I will be getting the official notice maybe by Monday,” sinabi ni NAPOLCOM vice chairperson Alberto Bernardo nitong Biyernes, Oktubre 11, sa pagpapatuloy ng pagdinig ng QuadComm.
“I convened the remaining commissioners and I was asking if we would be reporting to the Office of the President, through the SILG (Secretary of Interior and Local Government), that we are supposed to conduct of administrative investigation,” ani Bernardo.
“I was asking my colleagues, I was outvoted that they suggested to wait for developments. But personally I would like to file administrative case.”
RNT/JGC
